One of the most promising European country in cultural development, Poland, presents the artists from another emerging creative and rising country, that is the nation of India.
With deep economic changes in the last 20 years, the new Indian generations could experience for the first time an enormous economic and technological development, which had a fundamental impact on the traditional culture. The exhibition Generation in Transition. New Art from India features the most talented Indian artists, coming from India, America and Europe, who are nowadays among the most internationally appreciated and requested.
The event at Zacheta National Gallery of Art in Warsaw represents the first extensive showcase of contemporary art from the region of India presented in Central Europe in recent years.
