The Gao Brothers are often working on the portrait and homosexuality is a recurrent theme in their work.
The search for two brothers Gao Zhen and Gao Qiang is one of the most interesting studies of contemporary Chinese art that combines political satire and sexual themes.
Last work, the series entitled Miss Mao, previously exposed only outside the home censored in China because it represents a giant half-length of the leader Mao Zedong, in the female version, topless and with a long nose with clear phallic features.
